Welcome to GBTA Silicon Valley

For over 30 years, GBTA Silicon Valley has been serving the region’s business travel community, bringing together buyers, suppliers, TMCs and technology partners who shape how Silicon Valley moves for work. The chapter exists to engage, educate and innovate for Silicon Valley’s corporate travel ecosystem through high-impact programs, from monthly seminars and panels to special events focused on emerging trends, technology and policy. As a chapter, the focus is simple: create a space where people can learn from each other, stay ahead of industry change and build real connections that support better programs and better traveler experiences.

As your 2026–2027 Chapter President, I step into this role after many years in hospitality sales and marketing in the Bay Area, currently as Director of Sales & Marketing at Hilton Santa Clara. Having been an active member and board volunteer, my goal is to keep the chapter welcoming, relevant and action-oriented for every segment of our community and in doing so, bring the same collaborative, practical mindset to how our board will serve you.

The year ahead will be dynamic for business travel, with shifting demand patterns, new technology and ongoing pressure to balance cost, sustainability, duty of care and traveler satisfaction. As a chapter, we will focus on delivering programs that help you navigate these changes—from buyer panels and tech-focused sessions to informal networking that sparks fresh ideas you can take back to your organizations. Together, GBTA Silicon Valley will turn this into a year of Resilience for our members, our region and our community, strengthening the connections that make this market such a powerful force in global business travel. I look forward to meeting each of you at our upcoming events.

Global Business Travel Association

GBTA Silicon Valley is an official chapter of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) whose members represent major corporations and travel suppliers. Along with GBTA Silicon Valley, GBTA, the global organization, provides members with information on the latest technical and service advantages within the industry, as well as current legislative issues involving travel costs and safety matters affecting business travel.
